Freelance DevOps and Cloud Engineer - Transformational Project - Long Term

DevOps & Cloud Engineer supporting a large-scale transformation programme to modernize infrastructure and enable cloud adoption. The role focuses on building automated, scalable, and secure cloud environments while embedding DevOps practices to improve delivery speed, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Support migration of legacy systems to cloud-native platforms.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) for automated provisioning.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling processes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams to drive DevOps adoption.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, resilient, and cost-efficient.
