We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to define, structure, and drive a coherent and future-proof security architecture across a complex IT landscape.

In a context of increasing cybersecurity threats and regulatory pressure, you will play a key role in translating high-level security strategies into actionable architectures, standards, and implementation guidelines—while maintaining a strong focus on usability and business alignment.

You will ensure that security capabilities, technologies, and practices are consistently integrated across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, data, and identity domains.

Your mission:

• Define and govern the overarching enterprise security architecture
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into strategic security solutions and roadmaps
• Promote and embed secure-by-design principles across all IT initiatives
• Drive the adoption of Zero Trust principles
• Ensure alignment between security architecture and broader enterprise strategies (cloud, data, etc.)
• Support the organization in strengthening its cyber resilience and security maturity

Your activities:

• Develop, maintain, and evolve the security architecture framework
• Define and maintain security reference architectures, principles, and blueprints
• Document and communicate security standards and guidelines across teams
• Collaborate closely with enterprise, domain, and technical architects
• Align security practices with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, and GDPR
• Provide guidance for audit and compliance activities
• Review existing architectures and propose improvements to enhance IT resilience
• Evaluate and select enterprise security technologies (e.g. IAM, PAM, SIEM/SOAR, CSPM, EDR, WAF, DLP)
• Contribute to and monitor PoCs and pilot programs for emerging security solutions
• Ensure consistency and alignment across all architectural layers
• Support cross-functional collaboration with security offices and ICT teams

You have the following skills:

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related scientific field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security architecture

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge across multiple security domains:

• Cloud security (preferably Azure)
• Identity & Access Management (IAM / PAM)
• Network and infrastructure security
• Application & API security
• Container security
• Data protection and encryption
• Security monitoring (SIEM, SOAR)

Architecture & Environment

• Experience designing secure architectures in hybrid and multi-cloud environments
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect)
• Understanding of IT/OT environments is a plus

Governance & Compliance

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as:
• NIS2
• ISO 27001
• GDPR
• Ability to support audit, risk, and compliance processes

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach

Certifications (Nice to have)

• TOGAF, SABSA
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP
• ITIL
• Azure / AWS certifications

Languages

• Multilingual environment: English required, French and/or Dutch are strong assets
