Role: Networking Engineer

Location: Ghent, Belgium (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Skill Sets:

• Perform on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network appliances.

• Provide L2/L3 field support for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.

• Execute network rollouts, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning activities.

• Perform structured cabling checks, rack & stack, patching, and labeling as per standards.

• Understanding of Cisco routing and SwitchingTCPIP fundamentals VLSMCIDR, QoS, IP Subnetting.Cabling copper fiber

• Diagnose and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, ACLs, and firewalls.

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues in MPLS, Internet Leased Line (ILL), broadband, and VPN setups.

• Handle incidents within defined SLA/TAT, escalate to L3/vendor when required, and provide root cause analysis.

• Perform hardware replacement (RMA), device recovery, and failover testing on-site.

• Basic understanding of IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs

Mandatory skills

Have minimum 5 years of experience of networking.Work with vendors on integration of solutions

Desired skills

Basic routing with EIGRP, OSPF, VLAN Trucking, VLANsGood understanding of Cisco Wireless network.
