About the Role:

We are working with an innovative engineering-focused organisation developing advanced autonomous and intelligent systems.

They are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to help drive the development of real-time decision-making solutions used in complex, real-world environments.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, robotics, and embedded systems, with a strong focus on performance, optimisation, and deploying AI into production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and train AI algorithms for navigation, obstacle detection, and route optimisation
• Work on sensor fusion (LiDAR, camera, radar) for real-time decision-making
• Design and implement object recognition systems
• Analyse system and vehicle data to improve performance and enable predictive maintenance
• Collaborate closely with software and mechanical engineering teams
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, including computer vision, reinforcement learning, and edge AI

Tech Stack:

• Python
• C++ (embedded systems)
• Computer Vision
• Reinforcement Learning
• Sensor fusion (LiDAR, radar, camera)
• Edge AI

Your Profile:

• Background in AI, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
• Strong programming experience, particularly in Python and/or C++
• Experience working on real-world systems or product development is a plus
• Solid analytical mindset with the ability to understand full system architecture
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
