We are currently looking for a Head of Training for our Benelux subsidiary, who will be responsible for defining and leading the training strategy, ensuring excellence in knowledge transfer, and driving commercial performance through impactful and consistent training programs across the Benelux market.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the training strategy aligned with the brand vision, positioning and business objectives in the Benelux market.
- Supervise and coordinate the activity of the local training team – consisting of 2 persons: 1 responsible for the Dutch speaking region (Flanders and the Netherlands) and 1 responsible for the French speaking region - ensuring alignment, consistency and high performance.
- Design, develop and implement the annual training plan and specific training programs for launches, events and strategic initiatives.
- Create and adapt training content in different formats (face-to-face, digital and blended learning).
- Ensure proper follow-up and evaluation of active training plans within each region.
- Train and develop the local training team (2 persons) to guarantee homogeneous implementation across the territory.
- Identify training needs and propose improvement actions to increase efficiency and commercial impact.
- Monitor and measure training effectiveness through KPIs, evaluations and follow-up of training actions.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure training initiatives support product sell-out and business growth.
- Ensure proper reporting and tracking of training activities and results.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Training Manager, Senior Trainer or similar leadership role.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing training strategies and programs.
- Background in the cosmetics, professional aesthetics or related industry is a must.
- Leadership and team management capabilities. First experience in people management is a plus.
- Strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
- Strategic mindset combined with operational execution capability.
- Analytical skills and experience working with KPIs to measure training impact.
- Bilingual: speaks Dutch (mother tongue) and French fluently (mandatory)
- High level of English for interaction within an international environment.
- Willingness to travel within the Benelux.
