The Business HR team implements the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.

purpose of the job

As HR Manager based in Belgium you are responsible to execute end-to-end HR processes and transactions. In addition to payroll and administration, you support the Global HR leader by implementing the People Excellence Strategy across the EMEA region. You serve as a first contact person for the business, deploy HR policies, strategies and programs to drive greater organizational performance and effectiveness.

your responsibilities

● Execute end-to-end HR processes and transactions

● Coordinate payroll administration and payments with an external service provider

● First point of contact for employees in the region

● Manage day-to-day data analysis and management, communications, and vendor management ● Recruitment support; working with agency partners, participating in interviews

● Support for onboarding programs

● Action HR policies, strategies and programs

● Perform HR audits & compliance activities as needed

● Identify, share, and drive process improvements

● Manage car fleet and support other general services

● Support on the organization of company events

● Support on Learning & Development initiatives

● Participate in employer branding activities

minimum requirements

● Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration or Human Resources

● Experience within payroll administration

● Knowledge of Belgium labor law

● Minimum three years experience as HR Generalist

● Experience with works councils is a plus

● Excellent communication skills

● Strong administrative skills, organized, thorough, proactive and reliable

● Fluent in English and Flemish

● Hands-on problem solver

● High level of ethics, values and can maintain confidentiality

● Happy and confident to be an independent self-starter

● Good knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Slides)

● Knowledge of Success Factors, SDWorx or ADP is a plus

● Fluent in French
