For a client in the Kortrijk region, we are looking for a Process Optimization Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and guiding production processes and acting as a key link between R&D and production. You will combine technical expertise with people management skills and actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in implementing process innovations and further developing the process engineering team.

ROLE
- Lead the team of process engineers and coach them on technical and operational aspects.
- Guide new product developments from initial testing to commercial production.
- Ensure correct machine settings and provide clear instructions to operators for safe and high-quality production.
- Analyze data and identify root causes of production loss or quality issues.
- Develop and implement improvements in collaboration with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Report and analyze production performance to identify optimization opportunities and implement solutions.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a technical field.
- Experience as a team leader of engineers, preferably in the food sector.
- Strong people management skills: you motivate, guide, and coach your team to achieve results.
- Process-oriented mindset: you can identify connections, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-driven approach.
- Fluent in French, both written and spoken.
