Prevention Advisor Level 2

To support our fast-growing telecom activities, we are looking for a Prevention Advisor Level 2 or on the way to acquiring Level 2 who will play a key role in ensuring safe working environments across both mobile and fixed network construction projects.

This role combines field presence and office-based work , requiring mobility across different sites and cities.

As member of the Health and Safety team, your Key Responsibilities :

• Safety Policies: Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures adapted to telecom engineering activities (mobile and fixed networks);
• Risk Analysis & Assessments: Conduct risk analyses for network construction, installation, and maintenance activities, both on-site and in office-based projects;
• Field Safety Oversight: Perform regular site visits to monitor compliance with safety regulations, identify hazards, and proactively address risks on mobile and fixed network construction sites;
• Incident & Accident Investigation: Investigate incidents and near-misses, perform root cause analyses, and define corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence;
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with Belgian safety legislation and telecom-specific standards through inspections, audits, and safety reviews;
• Safety Culture Development: Work closely with engineers, contractors, project managers, and management to promote a strong safety culture across the organization;
• Training & Awareness: Support the development and delivery of safety trainings, toolbox meetings, and awareness campaigns for internal teams and external partners;
• Project Support: Act as a safety partner for telecom projects, advising engineering and deployment teams throughout the project lifecycle;
• External Coordination: Liaise with external authorities, inspection bodies, and partners regarding safety matters when required;

Your Profile:

• Certified Prevention Advisor Level 2 or in the process of acquiring Level 2;
• Experience in construction of mobile and/or fixed telecommunications networks is an advantage.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good professional knowledge of English, Romanian is a plus;
• Willing and able to be mobile across different sites, combined with office-based work;
• Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach;
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with engineering, QHSE, and project teams.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Belgian telecom safety standards and regulations;
• Experience working with contractors and subcontractors in telecom environments.
