Senior Developer – Logistics Domain

About the Role

As a Senior Developer in the Logistics domain, you will design, build, and maintain the software systems that support end‑to‑end logistics processes. You’ll work across backend services, frontend applications, and integrations with distributed devices and systems, contributing to a modern, event‑driven architecture that enables real‑time operational flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable applications using TypeScript, Node.js (NextJS), and Angular
• Build and optimize backend services and APIs supporting logistics operations
• Develop responsive front‑end tools for internal and customer‑facing platforms
• Integrate and manage distributed devices using protocols such as MQTT
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases with strong performance and reliability
• Work with AWS cloud services and containerized applications (Docker, ideally ECS)
• Contribute to architectural decisions around scalability, security, and maintainability
• Implement event‑driven and real‑time communication solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with TypeScript across frontend and backend
• Expertise in Node.js for scalable API development
• Solid experience with Angular
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with IoT or distributed device communication
• Knowledge of messaging protocols (MQTT)
• Familiarity with microservices and event‑driven architectures
• Experience with RESTful APIs and real‑time communication
• Strong understanding of software design principles
• CI/CD and DevOps experience is a plus

Location: Brussels – minimum 3 days per week onsite
