Job Description
1. Operational Monitoring & Provisioning (Daily Tasks)
Execute “Monitoring as a Service” requests
Ensure proper execution of provisioning steps (polling, access, configuration updates, etc.)
Respond to incidents and structural issues and escalate when necessary
Ensure quality control of data, configurations, and log files
Collaborate closely with Service Desk, service managers, development teams, Big Data team, and other supporting platforms
2. Lean & Digital Process Improvement (Improvement Initiatives)
Analyze existing workflows and identify inefficiencies
Build improvement proposals based on Lean principles: standardization, automation, reduction of variability
Translate operational insights into:
Digitalization (dashboards, scripts, workflows, API integrations)
Automation (CI/CD, orchestration tools, event-driven monitoring)
Process models (BPMN, value stream mapping)
Develop and track improvement projects
Change management: introduce new ways of working and support teams
Ownership and leadership of small projects
Work environment: Hybrid, with at least 2 days per week in the Brussels office

Technical Skills Requirements
Knowledge of Dutch or French (C1 – advanced proficiency)
Knowledge of English (B2 – upper-intermediate level)
Experience in IT Service Management (at least as a process participant) – minimum 2 years
Technical Systems Experience (min. 2 years):
Linux systems (as a user)
Database systems (via SQL queries)
Elastic Stack (user or analyst; preferably data ingestion analysis and Kibana dashboards)
Monitoring Technologies (min. 2 years):
At least one of:
OpenTelemetry
Syslog
Agentless polling
Elastic Beats
SNMP
Networking Experience (min. 2 years):
Segmented IP networks
Preferably: ability to analyze network flows and define Network Security Controls with the Network Security team
Process Improvement (min. 2 years):
Experience in technical process improvement initiatives
