Automation Engineer

PLC / Automation Engineer — Contract | Ghent Region | Belgium Rockwell Allen-Bradley | GMP Pharma | Long Term

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Ghent region is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer for a long-term contract. You'll be embedded within a validated GMP environment, supporting capital projects and ongoing production automation.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing and modifying control logic in Rockwell Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000
• Configuring and supporting FactoryTalk View (FTV SE/ME) HMI systems
• Supporting commissioning and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) in line with GMP requirements
• Writing and reviewing technical documentation — FAT/SAT protocols, functional specs, change controls
• Collaborating with QA, process engineers, and project managers across multiple production lines

What we need:

• Strong Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley PLC experience — Studio 5000 essential
• Prior experience in GMP-regulated environments — pharma, biotech, or medical devices
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 / GAMP 5 advantageous
• EU work authorisation essential
• Dutch advantageous, English working environment

What's on offer:

• €500 — €700/day depending on experience
• Long term contract — 12 months plus
• Ghent region based
