Walker Cole International is supporting a European healthcare organisation that is continuing to strengthen its consumer health portfolio across key markets. We are seeking a Brand Manager to drive brand growth, enhance market visibility, and support growth across a portfolio of OTC products.
This role is well suited to candidates with a strong marketing background who are looking to further develop within a regulated, consumer-focused environment, combining commercial strategy with scientific and regulatory considerations.
Role Overview
You will play a key role in shaping and executing brand strategy, ensuring strong market performance and consistent brand positioning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and continuously update deep product and category expertise (indication area, product benefits, mechanism of action, competitor insights, etc.)
- Serve as internal go-to expert for assigned brands
- Equip sales teams and key stakeholders with up-to-date product knowledge through training, presentations, FAQs and supporting materials
- Analyse brand performance and marketing impact using internal sales data and external market insights (trends, customer behaviour, competitor activity, pricing, promotions)
- Translate insights into clear recommendations for long-term brand development
- Contribute to annual brand planning, including campaign definition, channel mix, pricing approach, budgeting and KPI setting
- Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns with external agencies, ensuring quality, compliance and timely execution
- Support product launches with tailored promotional plans and marketing activities
- Manage brand budgets and proactively suggest adjustments when needed
- Track, evaluate and report campaign and brand performance, identifying optimisation opportunities
- Provide sales teams with tools and materials to effectively support market execution
The successful candidate is likely to bring:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in Brand Management or Marketing
- Master's degree in the related industry
- Experience within Consumer Health, OTC, FMCG, or a related industry
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using market data and performance KPIs
- Exposure to campaign development and product launch activities
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
- Fluency in Dutch, English, and French would be a bonus
