Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Python) based in Ghent to join a fast-growing, AI-driven platform transforming how multi-location brands manage customer feedback. You’ll work closely with a small, high-impact team, helping shape both the product and its growth. From high-performance data pipelines to LLM-powered insight engines, your work will directly impact thousands of daily users.

Responsibilities:

• Build and scale Python (FastAPI or similar) microservices that process large volumes of data in real time
• Design and own third-party integrations (review platforms, POS systems, external data sources)
• Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability
• Integrate AI/ML services (e.g., LLM APIs, LangChain) to analyze feedback and generate insights
• Build and iterate on LLM pipelines for summarization, diagnostics, and recommendations
• Contribute to frontend dashboards (React/Next.js)
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, testing, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Support data modeling and system design decisions as the platform scales

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production Python applications
• Strong experience with FastAPI (or similar frameworks) and PostgreSQL/SQL
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, LangChain, or AI/ML APIs
• Experience designing scalable systems and integrations
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-style environment with high ownership
