For our client, one of Europe's fastest growing high-tech manufacturing groups active in vision, research, defense & security, we are looking for a Manager Product Delivery (Validation & Test Automation)

Reporting to: VP of R&D

Mission of the role: Ensure that new sensor and camera based products are fully tested, validated, and ready for successful transfer from R&D into production.

This role sits at the critical interface between development and manufacturing and takes ownership for product readiness from a validation and testing perspective.

Location: Leuven, Belgium

Your Tasks

• Lead and develop the Product Delivery Group, consisting of Test & Measurement and Transfer to Production teams across multiple sites
• Own the validation and test strategy for new hardware products, including definition of test concepts, methodologies, and acceptance criteria
• Act as the key interface between R&D and production for product release readiness
• Ensure completeness and quality of validation plans, test coverage, and qualification results
• Ensure that new products are properly tested, qualified, and ready for transfer into manufacturing
• Contribute hands-on when needed, especially in defining test approaches and solving complex validation challenges

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Approx. 10 years of relevant experience in hardware product validation, test engineering, industrialization, or transfer to production
• Proven people leadership experience , ideally in a multi-disciplinary and multi-site engineering environment
• Proven hands on experience in product validation, test development and qualification (not only coordination)
• Experience defining and implementing test strategies and test automation (e.g. scripting, automated test setups, measurement systems)
• Industry experience with sensors, cameras, imaging or defense-related products is an advantage, but not required. Other industry experiences and perspectives are welcome
• Very good English skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset, with the confidence to uphold release standards
