Job Overview: Medior C# /.NET Developer

For our client, a major organization active in a large-scale, customer-oriented environment, we are looking for a Medior C# /.NET Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to support ongoing web platform development and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Contribute to the development of scalable and reliable .NET applications and APIs supporting web platforms.
• Performance & Reliability: Monitor, analyze, and optimize backend performance to ensure stability and efficiency across systems.
• API & System Integration: Collaborate with frontend and integration teams to enable seamless, real-time data exchange between systems.
• Technical Implementation: Translate technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable code while contributing to development standards and best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality delivery through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest .NET technologies and contribute to ongoing technical innovation.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and communicate progress and risks effectively.

Technical & Evaluation Criteria

• Backend Expertise: Strong experience in C# /.NET development, including .NET Core / .NET 6+ and RESTful APIs.
• Database Knowledge: Solid experience with SQL Server and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework Core.
• Architecture Mindset: Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development principles.
• DevOps Practices: Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Performance Focus: Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance.
• Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in Agile environments with iterative delivery.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in dynamic environments.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to different stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in C# /.NET backend development.
• Technologies: Strong command of .NET Core, Web API, REST services, and relational databases.
• CMS (Nice to Have): Experience with platforms such as Sitecore, Umbraco, or Optimizely is a plus.
• Language: Professional proficiency in English and good command of Dutch or French.
• Support: Experience with L2/L3 production support is a plus.
• Availability: Willingness to be on-call for critical production incidents when required.
