For one of our clients, a leading distributor operating on a global scale, we are currently looking for an Accounting & HR Officer.
In this key role, you will manage both local accounting and HR administration. You will support local management and report regularly to the international group, combining hands-on execution with analytical insight.
The job is based in Kontich.
Accounting & HR Officer – Your Tasks
Accounting & Finance:
- Handle all accounting transactions (AP/AR/bank statements)
- Prepare and file VAT returns and customer listings
- Perform monthly and quarterly closings, including financial reporting
- Act as the point of contact for the external accounting firm
- Assist with the annual closing and collaborate with external auditors
- Prepare financial reports and statistics for national authorities
HR & Personnel Administration:
- Draft and manage employment contracts, personnel files, and HR documentation
- Coordinate payroll in collaboration with the social secretariat
- Manage leave and absences
- Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR issues
Accounting & HR Officer – About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Several years’ experience as an accountant, preferably in a SME environment
- Fluency in Dutch, French & English
