Accounting & HR Officer


For one of our clients, a leading distributor operating on a global scale, we are currently looking for an Accounting & HR Officer.

In this key role, you will manage both local accounting and HR administration. You will support local management and report regularly to the international group, combining hands-on execution with analytical insight.

The job is based in Kontich.

Accounting & HR Officer – Your Tasks

Accounting & Finance:

  • Handle all accounting transactions (AP/AR/bank statements)
  • Prepare and file VAT returns and customer listings
  • Perform monthly and quarterly closings, including financial reporting
  • Act as the point of contact for the external accounting firm
  • Assist with the annual closing and collaborate with external auditors
  • Prepare financial reports and statistics for national authorities

HR & Personnel Administration:

  • Draft and manage employment contracts, personnel files, and HR documentation
  • Coordinate payroll in collaboration with the social secretariat
  • Manage leave and absences
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR issues

Accounting & HR Officer – About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Several years’ experience as an accountant, preferably in a SME environment
  • Fluency in Dutch, French & English
