Job Description – Insurance Officer (Life)
Context
We are looking for an Insurance Officer (Life) to support the business during peak activity periods or to contribute to specific projects. The role covers the different life insurance pillars as well as classic life insurance contracts.
We are specifically seeking profiles that are able to quickly master complex and technical topics and perform numerical and financial analyses, particularly in the context of group insurance renewals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage life insurance contracts from A to Z, in full compliance with internal procedures, applicable legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle the issuance of contracts based on information received from brokers, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Perform liquidation of life insurance contracts, including benefit payments and end-of-contract settlements.
- Manage administrative changes to contracts and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that payments are executed correctly and on time at the end of the contract.
- Provide operational support during peak workloads or within dedicated projects.
Profile & Skills
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Life Insurance, including the different pillars (1st, 2nd, and 3rd pillar) and ideally classic life insurance contracts.
- Very good command of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Languages:
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good working knowledge of the other language.
Experience:
- Medior profile.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (ideally 5 years).
