Security System Administrator


Job Opportunity

The role encompasses a variety of tasks, focusing on the administration and maintenance of Linux server systems.

  • Leverage scripting and automation tools to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Manage log management systems to ensure seamless operation and data integrity.
  • Respond promptly to security alerts and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Enforce and support robust security policies and best practices.
  • Conduct regular internal security audits and address identified vulnerabilities.
  • Provide timely reports on security incidents and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
  • Collaborate with a small team, working independently on specific projects while contributing to team efforts.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • A strong preference for working in a supporting role, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Proactive and independent, with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to quality, integrity, creativity, and cooperation.
  • A passion for open-source software and ethical hacking principles.
  • Experience in academic settings is a significant asset.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux administration, automation, and a genuine enthusiasm for security.
