Employer , based in Heverlee, is an innovative player operating in a high-tech and international environment.

Employer is active in container, railroad and ro-ro terminals as well as ports. We automate in environments where goods are transported by trucks, trains or ships.

Automation projects are based on a combination of hardware and software products. These products are mainly developed, produced and installed by Employer. Among these applications you will find inigent industrial cameras, self-service kiosks, traffic control, rails, real-time location solutions and process software, as well as in-house developed image processing software.

Employer is further investing in its cyber security team. Therefore we’re looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with main focus on customer product security and supplementary focus on ISO implementation together with the existing team. The cyber security team reports directly to the CTO.

You advise and monitor internal software and product teams regarding "security by design".

You help implement the IT security actions for our products.

You assist with the ISO standard implementation.

Jouw profiel

You have relevant experience with IT and cyber security (min years).

You are in possession of an IT master degree.

You are familiar with/ have some knowledge of ISO.

You can work independently and dare to take responsibility.

You have the drive to dive into problems and provide solutions.

You are communicative both internally and with customers.

You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.
