For its local Brussels / Diegem Office, Employer Belgium is looking for a Bids & Tender Specialist/administrator


Assist the Benelux Bids & Tender Team in

Pricing activities concerning bids, contracts and tenders;Creating, maintaining and archiving aforementioned items;Meeting targets linked to above activities in order to fulfill market & company demands.


Manage pricing and data updates including contract set up, maintenance, extensions, expiries in Contract Manager tool, and investigate price incidents. Support activities concerning weekly Billing Block process, including contractual price verification and invoice corrections;Support price expiry process, allowing for regular and proactive contract profitability reviews and price validity verification;Provide support to Sales/Commercial teams in tenders and price updates;Provide support in price & margin calculations in offers and bids;Establish a strong network and maintain close cooperation with all stakeholders involved;Use all valid bid management tools to secure Compliance and Control within the country;Ensure adherence to the contractual customer KPIs, including managing customer product catalogue requests and provision of spend/usage reports;Engage in the continuous work with two different Business Units, Cordis and Medical Solutions;Support these two Business Units with information around prices, offers and contracts;Have an appreciation of what the customer needs, articulate how our organization can provide that, and reflect it in the offer and value proposition;Support creation of proposals and assist ensure submissions are of high quality, timely and exceed client expectations.

Minimum education required Bachelor/Master degree (Business engineering ideally)French, Dutch and English language skills;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Financial awareness and excellent numerical skills;Extensive Computer software package skills (Microsoft Office);Experience and knowledge in SAP software package and/or Contract Manager;Ability to meet deadlines;Experience or knowledge about public procurement, purchase law and contract law would be a plus;Good Experience within the Bids and Tenders area is an advantage;Experience in a fast paced organization with a quick and pragmatic decisions approach;Understanding local Care industry and systems desired but not essential;Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity in line with Employer values, knowledge, and skills;Ability to think outside the box, propose innovative solutions and approaches to develop the department's bid excellence and operational efficiency;Time management, proactive approach, efficiency, the ability to meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision.
