My client is a specialist provider of European patent validation services, trusted for over 15 years by top-tier IP firms across Europe. Their work includes managing the full patent validation processtranslations, coordination with local agents, and all required filings.
They maintain ISO17100 certification for translation services, reflecting their strong commitment to quality and consistency.
What Youll Do
As a Linguist, youll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of translated patent content. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and refining translations (primarily English Dutch)
- Ensuring documents meet quality standards and client specifications
- Addressing linguistic or technical queries with customers and suppliers
- Identifying process improvements and supporting continuous development
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a collaborative culture
What Theyre Looking For
- Native or near-native proficiency in Dutch
- Excellent command of English (C1/C2)
- German or French proficiency is a strong plus
- Educational or professional experience in translation, linguistics, engineering, or life sciences
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proactive mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Bonus Skills
- Experience with CAT tools
- Understanding of intellectual property or patent processes
