About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Engineer to join our client on a freelance basis. This role focuses on leveraging remote sensing, geospatial data, and geographical datasets to develop advanced machine learning models for image and object detection.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models for image classification, object detection, and feature extraction using remote sensing data.
• Process and analyze large-scale geospatial datasets from satellite imagery, aerial photography, and LiDAR.
• Develop pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and GIS specialists to integrate ML outputs into geospatial workflows.
• Ensure accuracy, scalability, and performance of models in real-world applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks
• Experience with remote sensing tools
• Solid understanding of computer vision techniques for image and object detection.
• Familiarity with geospatial data formats and spatial databases.
