SAP MM Consultant – Freelance (Brussels, Belgium)

For a customer within the energy distribution and utilities sector, we are looking for an SAP MM Consultant to join on a long-term freelance mission.

This assignment forms part of a full greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation, where the organization is designing its procurement and logistics processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and enhance MM components (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, Procurement) to support evolving business needs.
• Support purchasing, logistics, and technical teams throughout the S/4HANA migration and integration of new operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, PM, SD) to ensure end-to-end process coherence.
• Troubleshoot MM-related issues and ensure compliance with internal governance and procurement standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA procurement and integration with FI, PM, and SD.
• Solid understanding of procurement workflows, service entry sheets, inventory management, and purchasing analytics.

CONTRACT: Freelance

LOCATION: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

ONSITE POLICY: 2–3 days per week on-site

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

LANGUAGES: English (French and Dutch are a plus)
