As Employer Business Partner EBU you will be responsible for

Understand the monthly results of your affiliates and be able to explain variances versus budget, prior years and rolling forecasts, via a close collaboration with local and Group Employer or Support departments (Controlling, Tax, , Regulatory, Legal, Procurement, Treasury, …); Support/create the consolidation of the EE financial performance cycle of the EBU Affiliates from all different points of view; Drive the rolling forecast process by monitoring deadlines, obtaining proper input data from the affiliates, and challenging the outcome of the rolling forecast models; Boost the affiliates' profitability by challenging financial analyses, business analyses and actionable reporting, obtained from/requested to the local Employer teams; Steer the Long- and Short-term planning processes and push affiliates to deliver a challenging but attainable three years' plan and budget, within Group deadlines; Participate in the Affiliates Bid Approval Process (ABAP), aiming to validate the customer deals, by challenging the Leadership Squad/Board of Directors presentations and related business cases. Make sure that the rules, processes, and deadlines are properly respected; Challenge the profitability analyses of complex files received from the local Employer teams and make recommendations to maximize shareholder value; Perform benefit management to measure the actual financial performance of a project compared to the business case assumptions; Get replies to ad-hoc questions coming from departments (e.g., IFRS, tax, treasury, consolidation, internal and external audit, taxonomy, …).

The required profile for the Employer Business Partner EBU position

Can take the EE ownership for some EBU affiliates in an autonomous way; Has knowledge of the o and IT business or is willing to acquire it; Is well organized and can work with short deadlines; Is results-oriented, has an analytical mind and can cope with stress; Is a very good team player with excellent communication skills; Has very good presentation skills (oral and writing) and who can add a storying component to financial analyses; Is digital savvy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and is willing to invest in other software applications (TM, Salesforces, …); And, last but not least, who is proactive, assertive and diplomatic.
